**SUPPORT WORKER**
Surmount Care is looking for an experience and exceptional Support staff on a casual basis to join our team in South West Sydney who will be reporting directly to Sandra Stergenakis (Director).

**Required**:Male Support Worker with experience in assisting adolescents on the Autism Spectrum.
**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Performing light household duties
- facilitating community engagement and access
- gathering and inputting data for allied health professionals
- engaging in uplifting, soothing and optimistic dialogues
- dedicated to assisting participants in reaching their NDIS objectives
- adhering to the case management plan
- complying with the behavioural support plan
- collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary teams
- preparing meals and cooking
- providing transportation
- Provide personal care to participants (if necessary e.g. bathing, feeding, administering medication etc.)
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Driver’s license
- Patience and emotional resilience
- Desire to improve the life of another
- Able to adapt and stay claim in challenging situations
- 100 points of ID
**DESIRABLES**
- Certificate III in social and community work or equivalent
- Experience working with vulnerable people
- First Aid + CPR certificate
- Working with Children’s Check
- Working with Vulnerable People
- National Police Check
