**Where your story begins**

We currently offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join the team at our Cheltenham plant. Reporting to the Reliability Leader, you will be an integral member of the raw support team and accountable to deliver cost effective and proactive maintenance planning to meet short and long term needs of the plant. Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing cost effective and proactive maintenance planning strategies to meet immediate and long-term needs of the plant
- Planning and scheduling maintenance activities, and assisting with shutdown Planning
- Ensuring Parts and spares are available for Maintenance days
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to optimise plant availability and reliability

You will play a critical role in the development and implementation of reliability systems and processes that will ensure the continued success of the business through the improvement of machine reliability and availability.

**Role you’ll play**

Along with well-developed communication and people management skills you will need to have the following skills and experience:

- An engineering, mechanical or electrical trade qualification
- Experience in planning and executing shutdowns and maintenance
- Contractor management experience
- Demonstrated experience in engineering/mechanical maintenance
- Good knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- A strong health and safety attitude
- Working knowledge of computer based maintenance systems (MP2, MS Project)
- An understanding of preventative / predictive maintenance philosophies
