**About the role at EY**

We are looking for a Manager to join our Mergers & Acquisitions team. You’ll be involved in all stages of the transaction process, including deal preparation, preparing marketing materials, bidder research, conducting pricing analyses, due diligence preparation and coordination, to completion. More importantly, there is continuous opportunity to develop your own unique career with EY.

You will also:

- Contribute to strong client relationships through interactions with our clients
- Prepare industry research / market mapping to assist in identifying potential acquisition targets for both private equity investors and corporate strategic buyers
- Contribute to new lead generation including businesses that should be targeted by the firm as potential clients
- Contribute to engagement planning and ensure that deliverables meet the project timetable

**Seniority**

**Mid Level** - A role for someone with some well-developed knowledge and skills they can bring to the role and team. Typically within 2-5 years of experience.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Investment Sourcing - Sourcing new investment opportunities by identifying and evaluating market opportunities
- Market Analysis - Analyze economic indicators and market trends to assess their impact on investment decisions
- Due Diligence - Manage due diligence processes to ensure that all relevant information is identified and evaluated

- Prioritization - Compares and ranks the relative importance &/or urgency of different tasks to identify the best order of actions
- Numerical problem solving - Works with numerical information and performs mathematical calculations to solve problems
- Critical thinking - Identifies and synthesizes patterns and trends amongst various sources of information to reach a meaningful conclusion, perspective or insight
