**About the Role**:
As the Residential Care Coordinator, you will provide operational leadership across our Out of Home Care (OOHC) services in the ACT. You’ll ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standard, contractual requirements while embedding the Sanctuary Model and MacKillop’s values into everyday practice. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of residential homes, supporting House Supervisors and Therapeutic Youth Workers, and ensuring high quality therapeutic care for children and young people. You’ll also manage administrative systems, recruitment, rostering, and property maintenance, while liaising with key stakeholders to ensure the best practice outcomes.

**This is Full Time opportunity based in Belconnen, ACT within our ACT Out of Home Care program. This role reports to the ACT Regional Manager.**
**What You will Do**:
- Lead and support residential care teams to deliver trauma informed therapeutic services for children and young people.
- Oversee daily operations of residential homes, including rostering, supervision and property maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with OOHC standards, ACT legislation, and CYF contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support case planning, program development, and continuous improvement.
**Key Selection Criteria**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work, or a related human services field are essential.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and supervising teams in a residential or child protection setting, with the ability to support staff development and performance.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care models, including the Sanctuary Model, and the ability to implement therapeutic strategies in residential settings.
- Proven ability to manage administrative systems (e.g., rostering, time and attendance, budgeting), and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and contractual obligations.
