Over the past nine years, Deutsche Bank’s FIC (Fixed Income and Currencies) and GCT (Global Credit Trading) business have achieved the distinction as a market leader within the investment banking community. The desk trade a across wide range of products made up predominantly of - Bonds, Treasuries, CDS, IRS, Futures, Secondary Loans, FX and Options.

Trade Services act as the primary control function around daily trade capture, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded in the Bank’s systems, providing accurate data to the businesses and downstream groups on a daily basis. Trade Services is closely aligned with the front-office and is expected to act as an expert on trade mechanics across a wide variety of products and systems to ensure trading activities are processed in a well contained and fast paced environment.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Trade capture, trade validation, amendments, trade lifecycle events (compressions, novations and maintenance), resolving queries and reconciliations
- Daily oversight of functions performed in offshore Service Centre(s)
- Drive continued process improvement and enhanced collaboration across the front to back team and with teams within the region and globally.
- Contribute to regional/global projects that impact the Pacific franchise
- Formation of strong and productive relationships with our business colleagues
- Proactively understand and respond to developments in regulatory environment
- Develop, maintain and review critical metrics designed to flag areas of control concern
- Support local managers ensuring adequate workload coverage and oversight of daily tasks

**Your skills and experience**:

- An understanding of front to back environment of Debt businesses, including regulatory and market initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to think strategically, is solution focused and can influence others to work in a similar way
- Ability to multitask within strict deadlines for risk in a high volume and complex environment
- Able to work in virtual global teams in a matrix organization
- Keep pace with technical / operational innovation & maintain a broad understanding of the Operations offering
- This position will involve working with a team of 5 people onshore in Sydney and our offshore team in Manila, dedicated to supporting the Australia Core Rates, Pacific FX and GCT Pacific businesses.
