**Your day as a Business Support Coordinator**
The Business Support Coordinator provides a broad range of administrative services and leverages extensive business unit knowledge to support the unit's program of work and facilitate the delivery of business operations.
Proactively building robust relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders is paramount, as is your contribution to improving the delivery of outcomes across the NSW Government through effective communication, collaboration, and advocacy with Treasury teams and agency counterparts.

**What you can bring to the role.**
In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW.
- Extensive work experience in executive support, financial management and administration
- Excellent interpersonal, oral communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines with high attention to detail and confidentiality
- Strong written, numeracy and verbal skills to communicate with vendors, senior management and other internal customers and stakeholders
- Extensive project and administrative support skills and experience
- Extensive computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint for professionally preparing documents
- Initiative, self-reliance, and the ability to work independently, without close supervision
- High degree of personal organization and ability to deal with multiple and competing projects and priorities
- Understanding of records management principles and experience in maintaining manual and computerized records management systems
- Be customer focused and passionate about providing support in a complex and changing environment
- Ability to develop skills in key software systems and provide basic instruction on use of systems by new staff
- Understanding of budgeting and financial concepts and experience in the management of finances
