**The Venue**:
Cali Beach is Australia’s largest day and night entertainment precinct, we truly provide the ultimate experience

Guests at Cali can enjoy pools, sun lounges, sporting areas and a variety of drinking and dining options whilst looking over the venue, skyline or ocean.

Each week we feature choreographed shows and the biggest DJ residency line up in the country, with acts like Hot Dub Time Machine, Sneaky Sound System, The Stafford Brothers, Bag Raiders, Will Sparks plus more.

**The Role**:
A Host/Hostess presents a positive first impression of Cali Beach with friendliness, excellent service and high standards. The Host/Hostess Will greet Guests upon arrival, inform Guests of what the venue has on offer and upsell booking areas that are available and inform guest of entertainment that is on for the day.

A Host/Hostess must be able to carry natural conversation with Guests without sounding scripted or intrusive. As a member of an energetic team, the Host/Hostess may also need to refuse underage's and customers who are not suited to the establishment. Availability must include nights and weekends.
- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned areas.
- Inform guest of current promotion and who will be looking after them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff
- Manage the flow of guests into the elevator and priority for guest that have high spend bookings.
- Tend to special guest needs and requests
- Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and RSA
- Receive payments by validating credit charges and finalizing payment for bookings via seven rooms.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance.
- Must be able to clearly communicate guests' needs.
- Must be able to take direction from management team
- A desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team
- Passion for providing extraordinary service
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- An appetite for learning and sales
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive
- Must be able to assist guests and possess great customer relations skills
- Ability to stand/walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time
