**Who we are**
The Trade Reform and Digital Trade Initiatives divisions have been established to develop and deliver the vision and strategy for agricultural exports, and to coordinate the range of the export business and digital reform programs that are currently underway. At the heart of this reform package is the modernisation of export systems by building Digital Services to Take Farmers to Markets.

The Digital Clearance Service Branch is focused on modernising and sustaining our digital export services by future proofing current and emerging systems. The successful applicant will collaborate with export program areas to deliver benefits for exporters across commodities.

**The Job**
The Technical Vendor Liaison plays a key role in ensuring clear and productive lines of communication between the department and vendors. They will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the best outcomes for all stakeholders. The duties include:

- providing vendor liaison coordination to a group of small teams with multiple and changing deadlines
- managing technical liaison tasks with various Exports Third Party Interface Software Providers on both System and Client support issues
- engaging with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of work programs and projects
- undertaking complex analysis, particularly in systems generated export certification
- providing advice and technical assistance relating to the departments’ export systems that is timely, effective, and accurate
- overseeing Level 2 Export System (NEXDOC) Production Support for internal and external clients
- contributing to system BVT requirements, in various environments, as necessary for system deployments; this may include out of hours support
- overseeing the management of vendor issues including triaging to appropriate areas for investigation and resolution.

**What we are looking for**

**Knowledge and experience**
- An existing understanding, experience in or knowledge of the Technical Vendor Liaison role or similar (highly desirable).
- Experience in working with different multi-disciplinary teams to deliver within a high-pressure environment.
- A strong business and technical understanding of the current export document management systems (highly desirable).
- Experience in leading and managing a small team in a high-pressure environment.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management.
