Details: The Ngunnawal Bush Healing Farm (NBHF) is a culturally safe and empowering space where Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people can embark on a journey of healing and transformation. Through a holistic model that integrates therapeutic community practices, traditional healing, cultural programs, and life skills development, NBHF supports individuals in addressing deep-rooted social and emotional challenges.

We are seeking a dedicated and culturally aware Assistant Community Liaison Officer to join our team. Working under the guidance of the Community Liaison Officer (CLO), you will play a vital role in supporting clients and contributing to the day-to-day operations of the NBHF.

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the CLO, the Assistant CLO will:

- Maintain a strong understanding of issues affecting First Nations communities

- Support NBHF clients by observing their health, behaviours, and circumstances; regularly updating the CLO; facilitating contact with family, support services, and significant others

- Assist with the collection and provision of statistics and evaluation data

- Represent NBHF at community forums, events, and activities, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Create and maintain documentation including individual support plans, client records, case notes, reports, and other written communications using Microsoft Office

- Participate actively in staff meetings, supervision, performance reviews, professional development, and essential training

- Ensure all hazards, incidents, injuries, and risks are promptly managed and reported

- Assist with client transport, program delivery, and general administration

- Undertake other duties appropriate to this level that contribute to the Directorate
