We are proud to support an area of Defence with their search for an experienced Program Scheduler on a long term contract basis.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the creation, implementation and utilisation of Defences work take-on processes.
- Provide scheduling briefings to Defence Executive and PL Leads in order to enhance the area of Defences Program of Work upkeep through imparting key information requirements required to maintain this area of Defences Schedule.
- Undertake analysis within the area of Defences Program Management Team and PL staff to determine resource and time estimates to develop PL schedules. Build centralised Schedules which incorporates all PL and Executive work packages.
- Contribute to Program Management Team's development of recommendations in relation to task acceptance and prioritisation.
- Under direction from the Program Manager, fulfil complex planning, scheduling and work status tracking across an integrated workforce.
- Develop and maintain a Program of Work status dashboard to provide the Defence Exec and PL Leads accurate data as to task and resource status.
- Contribute to the Defence strategic planning, through imparting schedule analysis of the work packages.

**Essential Criteria**
- At least 5-7 years relevant experience in working with complex project schedules.
- Experience in scheduling using Microsoft Project Professional.
- Demonstrated strong background and experience in large and complex programs.
- Well-developed understanding of contemporary PM methodologies coupled with proven understanding of Project Controls, Scheduling and Risk Management.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels and across the customer/contractor boundaries.
- Advanced skillsets in executive level project reporting and a thorough understanding of project financial management.
- Clear understanding of the One Defence Capability Model (formerly capability lifecycle (CLC)).
- Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1).

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience in scheduling within an Open Plan Professional (OPP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) environment.
- Experience with or understanding of Army/Defence Project Management and Project Management Office environments.
