We are looking for a Principal Service & Experience Designer to join our team. You would join a passionate team of over 30 working from across Australia.

This role will be based in Sydney and the incumbent will work a hybrid mix of in the DXC office in Ultimo to collaborate and drive team engagement, customer visits when required, and from home to allow you to better balance your life.

**What will keep you busy**:

- Plan and drive the design process for the development of products and services
- Design the end-to-end products and services, from ideation through to delivery, sustainment and improvement
- Analyse and make decisions based on insight, user research and business requirements
- Create products and services that are contemporary, sustainable and meet web standards to help our clients succeed and gain the competitive edge
- Understand and cater for the user base to ensure accessibility and optimal experiences for clients and their users
- Develop and maintain documentation to articulate the service environment and the design, including service blueprints, user journeys and hybrid maps
- Be a communication bridge between our clients and other design team members, and internal development teams
- Provide guidance and monitor and assist other design team members to follow the service design and delivery process where necessary
- Participate in other activities to improve the service design of the product and other process alignment

**What you will bring to the role**:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Service Design or Experience role (in a client-facing environment)
- Good knowledge of service design delivery processes and Human Centred Design principles
- Ability to compose and manage service design artifacts for each phase of the service design delivery process
- Well-versed in working in agile design and delivery teams
- Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users.
- Good at presentation, time management and client relationship building
