**Position overview**:
The Division of Student Administration and Academic Services (DSAAS) is within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Portfolio. DSAAS is responsible for the administrative support of students through the student lifecycle from when an offer is made through to the completion of their studies and graduation. Activities of the Division includes admissions, general student enquiries, enrolment, class timetabling, program management, financial transactions, scholarship management, examination management, legislative compliance in relation to students and the curriculum management. The Division also provides advice for appeals, grievance, academic misconduct and discipline processes.
This fixed term role is located within a professional and dynamic team with a high level of service commitment. The Deputy Manager is a member of the Student Administration and Records team (STAR) within the Division of Student Administration and Academic Services and the role reports to the Associate Registrar, Student Administration.
This position will provide high level advice on government and university policies and procedures to current and potential students and staff relating to fees, enrolments, student records and is responsible for a diverse range of work that requires versatility, creativity, integrity, flexibility and resilience to deliver practical and supportive outcomes for students through the delivery of student administration services. A commitment to excellent customer service is essential.
