This small but high-profile **Treasury team** operates as a highly collaborative, multi-disciplined unit and are focused on making a positive difference and driving change. They are responsible for managing capital, funding, liquidity and non-traded interest rate risk positions for Bendigo & Adelaide Bank’s ~$100 billion balance sheet in accordance with Board risk appetite and policy.
- A strong work ethic with a proven ability to show initiative, manage competing priorities and deliver to agreed deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools including Advanced Excel (including VBA) and presentation skills.
- Effective collaboration and influencing skills.

It will be advantageous to have knowledge and experience in:

- Regulatory capital environments
- building and maintaining financial models
- Treasury risk management concepts and practices

Reporting to the Head of Capital Strategy & Planning this role will provide both exposure to senior stakeholders and opportunity to contribute to key objectives and plan. You’ll be responsible for:

- Managing and forecasting the bank's Capital position (including the development and maintenance of a capital model)
- Identifying and executing opportunities to optimise the bank’s capital structure.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including regulators, rating agencies and business partners.

The role also provides an opportunity to gain exposure across both the broader Treasury and Finance functions at the bank.
