**Position: Male Disability Support Worker**

**Location**: Sunshine Coast
**Pay**: SCHADS Award rate + superannuation

**Key Responsibilities**:
✔ Supporting participants with mental health challenges
✔ Using music therapy to enhance well-being (experience/knowledge required)
✔ Encouraging and engaging in outdoor activities and exercise
✔ Mentoring young adults and supporting them in achieving their goals

**Requirements**:
Experience in mental health and disability support
Knowledge or experience in music therapy
Passion for outdoor activities and exercise
Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills
**Mandatory certifications**:

- NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card)
- Blue Card
- Comprehensive insured vehicle
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or similar)
- First Aid & CPR
- Medication Certificate (preferred, but can be completed on the job)

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Disability Support Work: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid and CPR Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 24/02/2025
