**About Us**:
Railer is a technology focused logistics startup. We are reinventing trucking and changing the future of the $50bn Australian Trucking Industry.

Roughly 250 billion tonne-kilometres of freight is moved by trucks every year in Australia. We help businesses move their goods interstate by matching them with interstate truckers. We have a wide range of clients across a wide range of industries, from Food & Beverage to Aerospace & Defence.

This is a very meaty space with endless opportunities to bring applied mathematics to bear on solving real world problems and massively improve the efficiency of the trucking industry.

The business is growing extremely fast and we are looking to bring on additional technical talent to help us optimise our fleet of trucks.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:
The Operations Research Analyst will be part of the team responsible for optimising our fleet of trucks to ensure we minimise travel time and maximise utilisation.

Your primary task will be to build models to simulate and optimise freight collections and deliveries across Australia.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Strong academic track record with at least a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
- Industry experience in Operations Research is a plus, but is not required
- We are open to hiring recent university graduates
