An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Broker Support professional to join Guy Carpenter in Sydney. Supporting our treaty team, you will be responsible for gathering and preparing data, addressing client and reinsurer queries, and managing placement support activities on a range of accounts.

This challenging role offers a supportive and collaborative team environment within a dynamic, innovative and highly successful global organisation. The successful individual will be able to effectively manage multiple administrative tasks and responsibilities to a high professional standard. Acting as a key member of the team, you will be vital in enabling colleagues to focus on strategic growth and customer excellence.

**Broker Support**

**We will count on you to**:

- Produce submissions, renewal information packs, post renewal reports, renewal trip packs, strategy presentations, etc.
- Collate and analyse market information and company data
- Coordinate meetings between the client and reinsurer(s)
- Produce contract wordings and endorsements
- Track placement progress
- Assist with responding to client requests for information, coordinating with other departments as necessary
- Liaise with Clients, Reinsurers and internal colleagues to ensure effective delivery of service and information
- Complete data entry into internal information systems
- File management
- Ensure compliance to professional standards
- Adherence to Company and departmental procedures
- Remain up to date with latest market trends.

**What you need to have**:

- 3+ years’ experience within insurance/reinsurance broking or underwriting arena
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels, must be a good team player
- Strong eye for detail and accuracy imperative
- Demonstrated organisation skills, with the ability to manage priorities
- Proven experience using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Curiosity to learn, think critically and ask questions to identify process improvements.
