**Responsibilities as a Contracts Officer**

This is a newly created position created due to the extensive growth of this organisation. In this role, you will be coordinating the Council's procurement and contract activities to ensure that all obligations are met and that required information is up to date. In this role you will also be:

- Working with other stakeholders to ensure appropriate outcomes are met.
- Provide advise to stakeholders in relation to procurement and compliance.
- Monitor performance of contracts.
- Creating contracts utilising the pre-made templates.
- Streamline procurement and contract management.
- Other ad hoc duties.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with contracts (preference having experience in procurement)
- Have a high attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy skills with Microsoft 365.
- Have Australian Work Rights.
