**The Role**
Commercial Division is seeking to fill multiple APS 5 Commercial Policy and Procurement Complaints positions within the Division. These positions will be required to have or the ability to quickly gain, an understanding of procurement, contracting and policy in a Government environment. The role(s) in Commercial Division, you will be required to work with other Government agencies to develop whole-of-government policies and ensure that Defence procurement policies and practices are compliant with Commonwealth legislation, frameworks and policies.
As part of Commercial Policy and Complaints team, you will be responsible for;
- Supporting Defence business with best-practice commercial policy, tools and processes,
- Developing and fostering productive relationships with stakeholders and clients,
- Driving commercial outcomes that comply with Commonwealth Government legislation and policy requirements,
- Contributing to a high performing team.

- Assist in the development and implementation of policy that is consistent with legislation and Commonwealth policies, guidance and processes.
- Assist in providing timely and accurate commercial and procurement advice (written and verbal) on complex policy issues that is tailored to meet stakeholder needs.

- Commercial awareness, highly developed interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Framework will be valued.
