Our client is a large Aged Care business located in Brisbane South. They are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to assist them through a busy period. Initially a 4 month contract with a high possibility of extension. This role can be full time or part-time.
Your responsibilities will include
- End to end payroll processing for a high volume of employees on a weekly and monthly payroll
- Entering new starters through to payment and terminations
- Review of the Time & Attendance Data feed
- Leave calculations (parental, long service, annual, sick & workers comp etc.)
- Reconciliation of superannuation & payroll tax
- Assist with payroll queries and enquiries as required
You will also be involved with interpretation of awards, agreements and contracts as well as processing annual leave and termination calculations. There will be some filing and general payroll administration tasks as well as process improvements. You will be supported by tenured & professional Payroll professional.
To be considered for this position you will have a wealth of working in a payroll function. You will have the confidence and superb communication-style to provide accurate & efficient client service delivery.
