**Responsibilities**:
As a Payroll Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Processing and managing end-to-end payroll for employees, including salary, benefits, deductions, and other payroll-related components.
- Calculating and verifying employee hours, overtime, and other allowances to ensure accurate compensation.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, employment contracts, and relevant labor laws during payroll processing.
- Collaborating with HR and finance teams to update and maintain employee records and ensure seamless data integration.
- Handling payroll inquiries and resolving any discrepancies in a prompt and professional manner.
- Preparing payroll reports, summaries, and reconciliations for management review.
- Assisting in year-end tax reporting and supporting audits related to payroll matters.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and incorporating them into the payroll process.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or a similar role with a minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and familiarity with systems.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor legislation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
