**OVERVIEW**:
This position will report to the APAC Head and will primarily be responsible to manage product development for the Australia market.

The position will act as the project manager, ensuring flawless management of the implementation process.
- New innovation ideation, identifying white space in market
- Product related quantitative, qualitative research
- In-home usage trials, in-home observation studies
- Product development including box, user instructions and all other elements
- Product claim development
- Necessary preparations related to regulatory requirements
- Input to the Marketing Communication team to development effective communication at respective touch points
- All other misc tasks related to product development

**Required Skills/Qualifications / Experience**:
**Education / Experience Requirements**

Minimum Education / Experience:

- BA degree or equivalent.
- 8+ or similar experience in product marketing, especially in product development and implementation (not marcom person).
- Experience in home electronic appliances will be favored due to necessary knowledge in implementing products (though experience in competitor floor care companies _**not**_ preferred).

**Expected Areas of Skills / Knowledge / Abilities**
- Skill set to implement new products with focus on the user experience.
- Powerful project management / leadership skills which will enable cross-functional collaboration to develop and deliver robust plans.
- Analytics and financials skills.
- Multi-function capacity and flexibility to deal with ambiguous situations.
- Communication skills with excellent Auatralia (translations and proof read will be required frequently), high level speaking / reading / writing capabilities in English. There will be intensive daily communication with Boston head office Product Marketing team which will require strong English skills.
- Budget management skills.

**Working Relationships (Key partnerships and reporting relationships)**
- Does this position supervise: Not at hiring timing, but Product Marketing Specialist positions will be created as the business grows.
- Will work with the Marketing Communications team to ensure all messaging / tone and manner consistency.
- Reports to Product Marketing Director.

**Travel Requirements**

Expected percentage of travel: Periodical domestic travel, possibility to visit Boston head office or China manufacturing facility depending on responsible project.
