**About the Role**
Working hand-in-hand with service owners in Student and Scholarly Services (SASS), you'll champion best practices and innovative constituent journey design, amplifying the student experience across a spectrum of vital services including careers, wellbeing, student programs, campus life, student enrichment and more. As a trusted delegate for the Manager, Student Communications, you'll have the opportunity to shape the narrative of our institution, enriching the lives and experiences of students every step of the way.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and executing student-centered projects and communication plans aligned with strategic organisational priorities and student experience objectives.
- Co-leading the development and implementation of the student communications work plan and calendar, establishing precise objectives and metrics for success.
- Leading a team in executing comprehensive, student-centric communications across various channels, adhering to the Student Communications Framework, brand guidelines, and critical constituent touchpoints.
- Fostering a culture of excellence in student communications by serving as a primary advisor on effective engagement strategies across channels.
**Who we are looking for**
Are you a creative communications professional ready to take on a new challenge? We're seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in crafting and executing multi-channel campaigns across various digital platforms. Working closely with the Communications Lead (Lifecycle), you will be an outstanding collaborator, with a strong track record of co-designing solutions. Your expertise will drive the effective delivery of communications that captivate audiences. Not only will you lead small teams with finesse, juggling multiple projects with ease, but you'll also nurture talent and foster growth. Your skill for stakeholder management is unparalleled, forging strong connections that propel projects forward. With your exceptional written and verbal communication skills, honed through writing/editing roles and crafting meticulous project briefs, you'll set the gold standard for communication excellence.
You will also have:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Extensive expertise in crafting and implementing information campaigns prioritizing user experience, accessibility, brand consistency, and digital engagement.
- Demonstrated high-level organisational and time management capabilities, adept at proactively understanding organisational priorities and effectively allocating workload and resources.
- Proven proficiency in evaluating the efficacy of information and campaigns, backed by a solid track record of leveraging data for ongoing enhancements and optimisations.
- Proven track record in developing guidelines, procedures, and training materials for innovative work methodologies, and successfully implementing them among stakeholders or colleagues.

**Your new team - Student and Scholarly Services**
Student and Scholarly Services provides student administration and services from recruitment and point of enquiry to graduation. This team also delivers wellbeing and scholarly services to students and staff.
Student Communications is a core cross-functional team within SASS responsible for designing and delivering integrated and tailored communications to applicants and more than 65,000 current students. The team of more than 20 comprises web specialists, designers, content writers and CRM specialists to deliver student-centred communications that assist students to complete critical administration, engage in enrichment services, seek support and thrive in their studies.
