**About the Role**:
The Category Specialist - Facilities, is responsible for supporting the planning and implementation of Category Management strategies and initiatives, conducting category reviews and participate in planning and forecasting within the categories of responsibility. The role will support the Category Manager - Facilities across a variety of subcategories including waste, security, environmental and facilities management. The position will develop and manage tender processes and contracts and provide specialist advice on procurement policy, procurement planning, contract formation and management requirements.

**Qualifications**:
**Desirable**: A relevant tertiary qualification CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply or Similar.
***Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO6 $98,478 - $104,165 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading
