**About the role**:
The Department for Education is committed to ensuring the best educational outcomes for children and young people in South Australia. The department is implementing a range of reforms to improve the educational opportunities for every South Australian child and to better meet the needs of the South Australian community. These reforms must be underpinned by world-class systems that facilitate efficient, effective, and user-friendly processes.

The Training Specialist is responsible for creating plans and schedules to support the training requirements and upskilling of staff in readiness for using Digital Platforms. They will support in implementing the training enablement framework and will coordinate training functions and resources for a variety of audiences across the department using a range of delivery modes. The Training Specialist will also provide expert advice on continuous improvement requirements to training processes and resources.

**Desirable**: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

***Special conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO6 $98,478 - $104,165 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading
