**Position Overview**

The Division of Student Administration and Academic Services (DSAAS) is within the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) Portfolio. DSAAS is responsible for the administrative support of students through the student lifecycle, from when an offer is made, through to the completion of their studies and graduation. Activities of the Division includes admissions, general student enquiries, enrolment, class timetabling, program management, financial transactions, scholarship management, examination management, legislative compliance in relation to students including appeals, grievance, academic misconduct, discipline processes and curriculum management

The Australian National University is looking for an experienced disability practitioner to join a busy team and work to support accessible and inclusive education for all students. The successful applicant will provide advice on reasonable adjustments and inclusive education practices to students and general and academic staff at the Australian National University. This will include:

- Information, advice, and support for students with a disability, medical conditions,
- Liaison, negotiation, and advocacy with all areas of the University,
- Provision of advice and assistance in the management of physical disability in the study environment, including on-campus workstation appraisals,
- Extensive record-keeping and database maintenance,
- Contributions to the revision of web-based and printed resources,
- Provision of support and advice for international students who are under 18 and elite athletes.
