**Job Summary**:
As an Equity Research Analyst/Associate within the Metals & Mining Team, you will play a crucial role in financial modeling, report writing, and company valuation. Your work will directly impact our understanding of the metals and mining sector, providing valuable insights to institutional investors. **Responsibilities**:

- Conduct valuation, modeling, and financial analysis.
- Write detailed reports on company-specific events, commodity analysis, and industry-wide issues.
- Liaise with clients and respond to requests for information and insights.
- Track data sources for sector insights.
- Market to domestic and offshore institutional clients.
- Handle day-to-day client requests efficiently.

**Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills**:

- Exceptional tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Geology or Engineering.
- 1 year of experience in a similar equity research role or equivalent analytical role in a relevant industry.
- Strong understanding of and ability to analyze financial statements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (advanced).
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written reports and deliver effective group presentations.

- Experience in the metals and mining sector.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
