**Your role**

Working hand in hand with the co-founders, you’ll be engaged across all aspect of Nomad, from managing the day-to-day operations to developing the reporting and forecasting processes to enable the best possible strategic decisions for the company. You’ll be responsible for building the systems and processes responsible for information flow, collaboration, decision making and accountability. Being successful at this role means making everyone around you more successful at theirs.

You will work with a high level of autonomy and be trusted to make well thought out strategic decisions while operating and a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Under the broad direction of the co-founders you will:

- Manage the day-to-day operations at Nomad
- Maintain overview of the engineering, customer, and company milestones
- Improve and manage Nomad’s operational cadence
- Build the systems and processes responsible for information flow, collaboration, decision making and accountability
- Manage day-to-day financial tasks, such as paying bills and issuing invoices.
- Monitor spending and provide insights for better financial budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure the business meets all regulatory requirements and has necessary insurance.
- Track and record statistics for the engineering department and business development teams.
- Prepare accurate company reports for the board and founders.
- Implement effective recruitment, development, appraisal, compensation, and retention schemes.
- Ensure the team has the needed facilities, equipment, and software.
- Assist with the external communications introducing and educating the world about Nomad.

**Your Skills**:
It’s not about specifically where you have come from nor what qualifications you have. What truly matters is that you are an impossibly fast learner with skills like:

- Experience in operational finance, and financial management (Budgeting, forecasting, etc).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with high attention to detail
- A willingness to step outside your comfort zone to acquire new knowledge and skills.
- Demonstrated strong sense of curiosity and a genuine passion for continuous learning.
- Ability to embrace ambiguity and demonstrate a willingness to acknowledge and explore unknowns.
- Self-motivated and works independently while fostering effective collaboration within cross-functional teams
- You take initiative and recognise no task is too small

We have the flexibility to work from home from time to time, but the in-person interaction with our tech team will be critical.
