- Provide administrative and customer support to specialist areas (which may at times require work in different locations.)
- Undertake the end to end processing of permits, licenses and registrations.
- Prepare a range of materials including PowerPoints, flow charts, presentations, spreadsheets, statistical returns, and the like.
- Undertake a range of day to day operational financial and purchasing practices to support the needs of the department, including maintaining stock of stationery and uniforms.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.

You will be part of a dynamic team and assisting with office duties, administration, and customer service.

The role

We are seeking Administration Officers multiple roles with an ASAP start.

Key responsibilities of these roles include:

- Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers, across the full range of activities undertaken by the Department.
- Provide a range of administrative support through the triaging and actioning of a suite of customer requests across the department, including coordination of responses to Councillor and Mayoral requests.
- Provide administrative and customer support to specialist areas (which may at times require work in different locations.)
- Undertake the end to end processing of permits, licenses and registrations.
- Prepare a range of materials including PowerPoints, flow charts, presentations, spreadsheets, statistical returns, and the like.
- Undertake a range of day to day operational financial and purchasing practices to support the needs of the department, including maintaining stock of stationery and uniforms.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders to increase the effectiveness and profile of the department.

You will have:

- Sound level of communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills, and ability to deal with sensitive information, in order to meet the needs of the department stakeholders.
- Solid level of experience in working as a team member, whilst supporting the broader team outputs.
- Well-developed skills in contributing to building a positive team culture.
- Certificate II in Business Administration or other similar field
- Class C Driver's licence
