WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

**About the Team**

RDA is headquartered out of our state of the art Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (in Redbank). However this position will primarily be based in our new program office in Fortitude Valley near the Brisbane CBD. You will become a key part of the Program Management Office (PMO) Team.

**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated **Risk Officer** to support the establishment, maintenance and improvement of program wide risk management processes, documents, and tools.
- As
- **Risk Officer,** you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

- Maintain and update the relevant RDA corporate and program risk, issue and opportunity registers within the risk management tool;
- Coordinate and conduct regular risk and issue management reviews with RDA Program Managers, Team or Domain/Business Leads to ensure timely actions are taken;
- Facilitate the conduct of risk and issue analysis to determine its priority level and drive program and business decision making;
- Provide risk management services for new contract bids or contract change proposals;
- Review the clarity, accuracy, and completeness of the risk, issue or opportunity information within the risk management tool;
- Create and regularly provide risk reports to support RDA Leaders, Program Directors, Managers, and overall program reporting requirements;
- Support Rheinmetall sub-contractors or other Rheinmetall supporting entities to perform risk management activities and report on relevant risks and issues;
- Create and maintain risk-related documentation including the Program Risk Management Plans or Program Management Plans; and
- Train and build the capability of program members and sub-contractors in understanding and implementing the risk management processes, systems and tools.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- Qualifications in Risk Management or Project Management;
- Risk Management experience essential;
- Collaborative approach and developed interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively across a multi-discipline and international environment;
- Analytical approach and structured problem solving abilities;
- Ability to adapt, learn, prioritise and structure work within a complex program environment;
- Well-developed lateral thinking skills and the ability to drive a task to conclusion;
- Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
