**The Role**
SRSPO's Project Management Unit (PMU) is delivering a significant program of capability acquisitions, including AIR7000 Phase 2 - P-8A Poseidon capability delivery project, and the P-8 Capability Assurance Program upgrade in line with the United States Navy’s/USN Increment 3 upgrade. The project will acquire hardware and software elements to upgrade the aircraft, Mobile Tactical Operations Centres, training systems and associated support elements including spares and network integration.

Your role will be to project manage the associated Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC) elements to ensure they are coordinated and planned effectively and to schedule and budget. This includes drafting project plans/documentation, and supporting external project audits/reviews. You will work with a multi-discipline Commonwealth and contractor team and undertake significant stakeholder management, including the USN program and RAAF (capability owner) teams as well as interfacing projects and those Australian Defence organisations providing inputs for ICT and Infrastructure, etc.

**About our Team**
Surveillance and Response Systems Program Office (SRSPO) ensures the availability and performance of complex surveillance and response airborne and related systems for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) - including the P-8A Poseidon and the AP-3C (Electronic Warfare) aircraft systems. SRSPO acquires and supports common Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (ALSE) used on all air vehicles operated by the RAAF, Navy and Army. In the near future we will also support the MQ-4C Triton, a new remotely piloted high altitude long endurance aircraft system.
