**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the National Payroll Manager, this role will be an integral and valued member of our national payroll team. With 10,000 employees nationally, this role is diverse, fast-paced in nature, and challenging, yet rewarding. No two days are the same at G8 Education. We are an innovative bunch, with the purpose to shape the future of our next generation.

**Your day-to-day**

Reporting to the National Payroll Manager, and in conjunction with your team will be responsible for:

- End to End Payroll - Processing the weekly payroll for salaried, full time, part time and casual staff.
- Manage payroll-related queries and issues i.e., managing Hotline & Inbox
- Liaise with HR regarding staff appointments, terminations, conditions of service and other relevant matters.
- Processing of new staff, staff status changes and terminations
- Checking and maintaining employee payroll data.
- Maintain data accuracy within PROCEEDA and associated systems.
- Efficient and accurate high-volume transactional processing including but not limited to commencement of new employees, terminations, leave, allowance, and deductions.
- Other adhoc administrative duties.

**About You**
- Payroll experience spanning at least 2+ years.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening).
- Previous experience working to strict commercial deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment legislation and how it relates to accurate payroll management and processes.
- Experience with Preceda, Kronos HCM, and Dimensions is highly regarded
