UON’s business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-grid power and water infrastructure, with many of the products manufactured in UON’s Malaga facility, based on proprietary and patented designs.

**About The Opportunity**:
The purpose of the Commercial Graduate role is to provide support in the administration of contracts and execution of commercial activities across the Projects, Production, and Energy business units.

This includes assisting with procurement, cost tracking, compliance, and client communications to ensure commercial processes are delivered efficiently and in alignment with operational requirements.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation, review and administration of head contracts and subcontracts.
- Aid in maintaining a contract obligations matrix and tracking key commercial deliverables.
- Help maintain project records, including registers for variations, claims, and correspondence.
- Assist project teams in collecting and validating data for budgeting, forecasting, and monthly cost reporting.
- Aid in the preparation of project financial documentation such as cost-to-complete reports and monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Support the preparation of procurement documentation and assist with issuing request for quotation packages.
- Help maintain records of subcontractor compliance, including insurances, securities, and onboarding documentation.
- Attend internal and external project meetings as required and assist in capturing actions and decisions.

- Excellent written and verbal **communication.**:

- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from senior professionals.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn internal systems.
- Professional conduct, confidentiality, and discretion in handling sensitive information.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in law, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, or a related field (completed or final year).
- 0-2 years’ experience in a commercial, legal, or construction-related environment.
- Familiarity with standard forms of construction contracts (e.g. AS 4000, AS 2124, GC21, NEC) is advantageous.
- Construction White Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
- Strong academic performance and interest in commercial or construction law.
