Role Detail
The MarTech & Optimisation team sit within the Business Development and Marketing team (BD&M). They are responsible for managing the MarTech stack, supporting users, developing efficient processes, data governance, insights and bringing new technology and solutions to the business that help deliver on the goals of the wider BD&M team and firm.
This role will work within a small team who specialise in CRM, marketing automation, system support and development, data analysis and BD & Marketing process design. Building upon the implementation of a more integrated MarTech stack, this role will support the delivery of an ambitious roadmap to optimise the investment in technology and better meet the strategic business goals.
Reporting to the MarTech & Optimisation Manager, you will focus on supporting, improving and utilising the firm’s marketing technology stack, with a particular emphasis on Salesforce. You be responsible for building and improving technical solutions, refining business processes, and delivering actionable data insights to support decision-making and operational efficiency. You will also work with the team to support the 1,500 Salesforce users and key BD&M stakeholders.
The role involves: leading technical elements of projects, ensuring seamless system integration across platforms like Salesforce (SalesCloud with an ISV package - Sigma LCM), Power BI, Eloqua, On24, Introhive and others, while also helping to drive the adoption of systems and new processes.
About You
This role requires a strong technical background in Salesforce and other MarTech software including Power BI (or similar reporting tool) and Eloqua (or similar marketing automation platform).
You will be a proactive learner with a dedication to staying current with new technologies and improving processes and platforms by adopting new functionality and solutions. Working collaboratively with the wider team, you will need a strong team-oriented approach, capable of working closely with multiple departments and stakeholders to drive system adoption and project success. You will also bring:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, including customisation, process automation, and system integrations.
- Demonstrated experience with building and deploying Apex classes, Flows, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce and Aura Components.
- Analytics experience and an understanding of how to work with Salesforce tables and related data.
- Strong knowledge of platform configuration including custom objects, page layouts, paths and validation rules.
- Proven ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into efficient system solutions that align with strategic goals.
- Adept at explaining complex technical processes to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and
- understandable manner.
- Experience documenting processes and workflows for a variety of audiences, from technical teams to end users.
- Experience writing and delivering training materials, conducting sessions for end users on Salesforce and other MarTech platforms as well as supporting users and assisting with queries (both simple and complex).
- Proficiency in working with large data sets from multiple sources to produce actionable insights through reports and dashboards. Power BI experience preferred but demonstrated experience using similar tools would also be applicable.
