You will bring your Engineering, Defence or Maritime industry experience to this role and create and lead a balanced team to undertake program operations including the implementation and compliance with Babcock and customer requirements.

**About the role**

As a member of the Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) Asset Class Primary Contractor (ACPC) Leadership Team you will contribute to the direction, strategy, and delivery of this program and the wider LHD Enterprise objectives.

You will promote and act as a role model for a performance driven and cohesive culture whilst driving the implementation of the program strategy and resolution of program management issues.

You will be required to maintain and improve the program level cost and schedule management system for ACPC, undertaking strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting reviews for the program.
- To be successful in this role, you will have: _
- Extensive Program / Project Management experience within an engineering organisation, preferably Defence / Maritime environment
- Significant leadership experience within Program Controls in a large, complex organisation
- Practical ability to utilise critical project management concepts such as Network Scheduling, Program Planning, Earned Value Management, Risk Management, Change and Configuration Management
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with exceptional ability to communicate effectively

This position will work within our subsidiary Naval Ship Management (NSM), which provides asset management solutions to the Australian maritime sector. Working closely with supply chain partners, NSM provides cost-effective and responsive solutions that optimise the availability, capability, and seaworthiness of critical maritime assets. NSM supports assets across the Royal Australian Navy’s fleet - most notably the Anzac Class Frigates as a member of the Warship Asset Management Agreement (WAMA) and the Canberra Class Landing Helicopter Docks (LHD), LHD Landing Craft (LLC) and associated assets as the Asset Class Prime Contractor.
