Product Manager

They use data-driven insights to understand what customers truly want, working with local retailers to deliver personalised solutions that make a difference.

We're looking for a Product Manager familiar with FMCG & e-commerce experience to bring big ideas & vision to transform the omnichannel experience for IGA's customers using digital channels and to support us building out IGA's product management function.

In this role you will drive the strategy, execution and delivery of our digital products to meet customer needs and achieve business goals. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams including UX, design, engineering, and analytics to develop and deliver exceptional digital products that drive growth, engagement, and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do

Support the development and drive the product strategy for our digital products in the Metcash Food Digital Channel

Own areas of the product suite and become the go-to expert on them.

Propose viable, feasible and usable solutions to problems faced by retailers and customers, turning product vision into an actionable backlog and executing it

Create materials needed to bring these ideas to life - prototypes, epics, stories, data analysis, feature document, enablement documentation, release notes etc.

Act as an advocate for the retailer, shopper, internal stakeholders, and business partners as it relates to product issues and improvements.

Create buy-in for the solution with internal stakeholders and customers.

Work closely with the UI/UX and Engineering Teams to ensure Product Delivery is in line with product vision.

Support regular backlog refinement sessions and sprint planning sessions.

What you’ll bring

Balance data-driven w/data informed to make informed decisions based on analytics and customer insights using tools like lookr, amplitude, clarity.

Insight & experience in enhancing omnichannel experiences w/digital channels.

AI/Ml exposure for personalization, optimization

Experience using loyalty and or membership programs to boost engagement.
- Experience with products that rely on media sales e.g. sponsored products, listings, advertorials, native advertising, product integration as a revenue line

Knowledge of Agile principles, with experience in leading scrums, building user stories, writing specifications, and managing team resources

Superb written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organisational skills to prioritise projects without losing sight of what's most important
