A loving family in St Ives Chase are seeking a kind and energetic nanny to care for their two girls (3 yr and 8 month old).

**The days and normal hours are:

- 4 days - up to 44 hours per week**

Monday - Thursday 7am -6pm

An ideal nanny would be loving, kind, calm and nurturing. Someone who has a genuine passion and love of children.

An attentive, proactive and energetic nanny that is experienced in engaging and having fun with the children, spending time indoors and outdoors and providing stimulating and creative playful activities which will support the children’s learning milestones and development.

A nanny that is reliable, responsible and trustworthy. The family is looking for a nanny who can build a lovely bond with their family, set healthy boundaries and support the day to day running of the household.

Previous experience with babies and toddlers is a must.

The eldest child attends kindy so the care throughout the day is mostly for the baby.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the children
- Follow the children's routines
- Drop off/Pick up the eldest child from kindy
- Play and engage age appropriate creative activities to assist in the children’s development
- Take the children out to activities or ie gym, playground/park etc.
- Prepare meals and snacks for the children
- Prepare a meal for the family
- Laundry
- Light household duties - Generally keeping main areas and surfaces of the home clean and tidy and unpacking and stacking dishwasher, putting toys away, quick vacuum/clean floors. Any extra assistance to help the parents out would be greatly appreciated.
- Grocery shopping and running errands (Occasionally)

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Child care qualification (preferred)
- Have a current Working with Children’s Check
- Current First Aid
- Display strong communication skills and speak excellent English (Second language a bonus)
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Non smoking
- Up to date with all vaccinations
- Full drivers licence and clean driving record (Own car preferred)
