Position title Salesforce Technical Lead
Reports to (Title) Customer Application CRM Team Leader
Job Purpose
As the Salesforce Technical Lead, you are one of the key technical advisors of our multi-org Salesforce ecosystem. You will consult and partner with business stakeholders to design and deliver a roadmap of iterative business value, run our Agile team processes, and balance new feature releases with technical debt reduction.
As the Technical Lead, you will partner with the Salesforce Architect to conduct design/code reviews, develop best practices, provide expert domain knowledge and advice to the CRM Team and the CRM Team Leader and the defining the technical roadmap for Salesforce over the next 5-8 years. This is a hands-on role that requires technical experience and abilities with Salesforce and related cloud technologies.
Key Accountabilities

**The Salesforce Technical Lead responsibilities are**:
Managing the team of Salesforce technical resources including, resource allocation, performance and development, mentorship and technical guidance.
Provide technical leadership to the CRM team regarding technical issues, feasibility of solutions and mentorship. Design, architect and build Salesforce technical solutions with the support of the Salesforce team
Drive improvements to current processes around development, deployments and standards, build version control, and modern DevOps practices
Actively driving own technical skill development through completion of relevant Salesforce Trailhead modules, attaining / maintaining Salesforce certifications appropriate for the role, and attending Salesforce or user group events.
Experience and Knowledge
Degree-level qualifications in Information Technology or related area are desirable.
Also, Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Developer, Sales/Service Cloud, Advanced Administrator are advantageous
7+ years' experience in managing Salesforce platforms across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Digital Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud
Strong experience with code deployment, release management, Apex, Lightning component/web component, SOQL, web services, APIs, integration, DevOps and Salesforce DX
Strong experience in code management and source code branching using Git
5+ years' experience in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, JSON, XML and SOAP.
Demonstrated ability to manage (plan, lead, mentor and organise) technical staff in a diverse software development environment.
Strong skills and experience in leading project development and mentoring developers
Experience and knowledge in software development practices including SDLC, waterfall and Agile.
One or more current Salesforce certifications
Ability to work closely with a team of Architects, Developers from different disciplines as well as Business Analysts
