Our client is a Victorian government agency who is seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead for a permanent position.- The Salesforce Technical Lead provides technical leadership of the Salesforce product to the CRM team, BTS and SEW, as well as managing the design, development and deployment of customer technology products. The Salesforce Technical Lead will be responsible for the team of Salesforce Developers providing resource allocation, development and technical guidance. They will mentor the Salesforce team to develop their technical and problem-solving capabilities.- Accountabilities- Managing the team of Salesforce technical resources including, resource allocation, performance and development, mentorship and technical guidance.
- Provide technical leadership to the CRM team regarding technical issues, feasibility of solutions and mentorship. Design, architect and build Salesforce technical solutions with the support of the Salesforce team
- Drive improvements to current processes around development, deployments and standards, build version control, and modern DevOps practices
- Continuously improve our ecosystem by solving technical problems, making recommendations, and briefing based on best practice and industry standard.
- Strong Salesforce innovation, thought leadership, relationship management and process improvement to improve Salesforce adoption and utilisatation
- Lead and advocate a peer review practice within the Salesforce team
- Experience- Degree-level qualifications in Information Technology or related area are desirable. Also Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Developer, Sales/Service Cloud, Advanced Administrator are advantageous
- 7+ years’ experience in managing Salesforce platforms across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Digital Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud
- Strong experience with code deployment, release management, Apex, Lightning component/web component, SOQL, web services, APIs, integration, DevOps and Salesforce DXStrong experience in code management and source code branching using Git
- 5+ years’ experience in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, JSON, XML and SOAP.
- Demonstrated ability to manage (plan, lead, mentor and organise) technical staff in a diverse software development environment.
- Strong skills and experience in leading project development and mentoring developers
- Experience and knowledge in software development practices including SDLC, waterfall and Agile
