We are a well-established medical centres located in Liverpool, Lurnea and Ingleburn - Sydney area, seeking casual medical receptionists to join our team.

This position will primarily manage the day-to-day workflow of the front desk, ensuring the smooth operation of patient clinics.

We seek someone, who priorities patient care and someone, who demonstrates a high level of professionalism and reliability. Experience in a similar role (general practice or specialist reception) will be highly regarded but is not essential. We are happy to train a suitable applicant with no experience in the health industry.

To be considered in this role you will have:

- A genuine interest and passion for the medical or healthcare sector and providing patients with a superior level of customer service.
- Good interpersonal skills, tolerance and ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Good phone manner and ability to deal politely with patient questions.
- Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Good time management skills.
- High level of computer literacy.

Some of your day to day responsibilities will include the following tasks (but not be limited to):

- Meet and greet of patients visiting the practice on arrival and departure.
- Patient billing and receipting for consultations and surgery.
- Appointment booking, rescheduling and confirming.
- Daily dispatching of medical correspondence.
- Liaising with Doctors, Medicare, Service providers.
- Administrative document scanning and filling of clinical notes and results.

**Salary**: $21.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Patient Access Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
