**The Company**:
Our client is an extremely successful Australian owned business with international clients.

They pride themselves on representing well known & high-end brands & have an extremely extensive & positive reputation.

**The Role**:
The Payroll Officer is an integral role for our client & looks after the payroll requirements for almost 200 staff.
- Manage end to end weekly payroll processing, ensuring deadlines are met
- Checking payroll variations including new starters, deductions, superannuation, salary & position changes
- Checking timesheets, back pays/adjustments, and other additional payments
- Time & Attendance system processing & administration, responding to and resolving user queries
- Prepare, calculate, and process employee terminations and any associated payments
- Resolve payroll queries in an accurate, timely and customer focused manner
- Assist in Month End and Year End processing, Audit Requests and ATO and payroll tax lodgements
- Post payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll clearing accounts
- Produce month end reports including leave Liability reports for Finance
- Be proactive in finding ways to streamline and improve processes
- Assist in general HR matters
- Experience owning the end-to-end payroll process and 3+ years’ experience
- **Preceda knowledge IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE**:

- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise and balance competing priorities in a busy payroll environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide accurate and timely payroll processing
- Excellent attention to detail and ensuring all processes & changes are documented
- Strong listening, and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good MS Excel skills,
- Experience with Time & Attendance systems
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and Fair Work Awards, Award wages / NES
