**_ About the role:_**

Our client is an individual living at home in Bendigo with a spinal injury and requires Support Workers to help reach community and clinical goals.

Our Support Workers will demonstrate teamwork and champion a safe and positive environment for our client and will be guided by a strong management presence. You will help us manage and maintain strong clinical standards and will be required to support our client in achieving their short and long-term goals.

Our client requires a few additional support workers to join his team on a casual basis. This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference in our client's life, as well as enhance your skills and knowledge by working alongside a Registered Nurse.

**_ Duties;_**
- Work alongside a Registered Nurse and assist with personal care and manual handling
- Supporting the client in achieving their community and clinical goals
- Providing true and authentic companionship to the client
- Light household duties

**_ You must have;_**
- Valid Australian Driver's License
- Valid CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Proof of rights to work in Australia
- NDIS Worker Screener Check
- +6 months manual handling experience (using hoist machines)
- Experience with providing personal care to clients with high needs - this includes full assistance with showering, continence care and personal hygiene
- Be able to work in a team environment with exceptional communication skills.
