About the role
The Manager Information Technology Service under the direction of the Chief Information Officer provides professional expertise, leadership and to operationally and professionally manage the delivery the Information Technology Services (ITS) to ensure that the Health Service achieves optimum performance in the delivery of ICT projects and services which support the Health Services ICT Strategic Plan.
About you
- Demonstrated high level experience in delivering agreed outcomes on complex strategic business/ICT projects in an information and communication technology environment for large, complex service delivery organisations.
- Highly developed leadership and management skills including demonstrated capacity to create and maintain high-performing teams. And demonstrated ability to strategically manage change and innovation to improve organizational capability and responsiveness.
- Highly developed communication, presentation and client relationship management skills including the ability to effectively advise, consult, influence and negotiate on complex technical, semi-technical and business-related issues, while maintaining positive relationships.
- Demonstrated high level ability in developing and implementing appropriate strategic and tactical responses to complex ICT services delivery issues in a highly changeable environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff in line with contemporary human resource management policies, procedures and practices including anti-discrimination, ethical behaviour and occupational health and safety.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
