The Social Responsibility Specialist will focus on our supply chain, especially our Ethical Sourcing and Environmental impact areas. They will define Princess Polly’s strategy to assess the environmental performance of sites and work with suppliers to improve this. Suppliers will feel empowered and supported on this journey, and a culture of honesty over perfectionism is fostered.

**IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, THIS IS WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AS OUR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY SPECIALIST**:

- You will work with our supplier partners to introduce innovative solutions to reduce factory CO2 emissions year over year
- You will contribute to the development of chemical safety, water conservation, and biodiversity targets, and drive progress towards these
- Keeping informed of changes in environmental laws and industry trends, you will continuously monitor and identify international tools, standards, guidelines, or technologies which will elevate Princess Polly’s sustainability mission
- You will work to develop and refine internal procedures for data collection and evaluation
- You will support suppliers and factories to take ownership of their ethical sourcing journey and ensure compliance, including running the preferred supplier program
- Utilizing your project management skills, you will roll out and champion our Living Wage strategic roadmap
- You will build strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners

**COMMERCIAL AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree in Environmental Management or a similar field is strongly preferred
- 3+ years of experience working in a sustainability role within a global organization (with a focus on biodiversity, climate, and/or water) required
- Knowledge and experience with global sustainability standards (Higg Index, GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD) and prior experience working directly with factories required
- Passion for sustainability, ethics, and the fashion industry
- Knowledge of global environmental regulations and conversational literacy in Mandarin are both a plus
