We are looking for an Estimating Manager to join our Estimating team. This person will be passionate about the industry, a high achiever and have a high attention to detail.

**The role**:
As the Estimating Manager you will be looking after a small team of Estimators. This is a hands on position which will require you to undertake estimating duties, whilst providing support and training to junior staff members. This role will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager & General Manager and you will form a key part in transforming the estimating department.

**What will you bring to the company?**
- Considerable experience within an estimating role in the residential building or similar industry
- Proven leadership experience
- Experience in interpreting residential building drawings and working from plans and addenda’s
- Exceptional customer service skills
- An outstanding attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- A list of excellent references who can attest to your outstanding job performance
- Team player who is willing and able to work with a small team

**What will you be responsible for?**
- Leading a team of Estimators
- Working with staff and clients on complex jobs, offering support and guidance
- Accurately quoting and estimating residential kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, stone tops and glazing products for both the ABN Group building companies and retail clients
- Maintaining price books and completing ad-hoc projects as requested by management
- Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Liaising with builders, project managers, suppliers and clients
- Interpreting builder plans and specifications
