**Who are we looking for?**
We are seeking a Research Fellow - Drone Collision Risk Assessment Techniques to join School of Electrical Engineering and Robotics, Faculty of Engineering.

**What you need to succeed**
- Completion of a PhD in a relevant discipline preferably in Mathematics or Engineering (Robotics, Aerospace, Computer Systems, Electrical).
- Demonstrated ability to conduct applied research, balancing theoretical and practical engineering concepts.
- Demonstrated experience in manipulating, exploring, and analysing large data sets using advanced statistical techniques.
- Demonstrated experience using mathematical software packages (e.g., MATLAB, Python, R) and/or developing software in other packages (C, C#).
- Demonstrated written communication skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records, with a demonstrated track record in publishing in high-quality conferences and journals, and experience in summarising scientific data in reports.
- Demonstrated ability and motivation to engage and actively collaborate with industry partners and government.
- Demonstrated ethical standards in research confidentiality including the ability to protect intellectual property.
- Experience working in or with industry partners preferred.
