We are currently seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our team at our Melbourne Processing Centre in West Melbourne, VIC.

In this role, you will provide excellent customer service to support the timely distribution of life-giving blood and products to Approved Health Providers throughout Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.

You will also work alongside our Order Fulfilment team and our transport partners to ensure that the right product gets to the right place at the right time. We achieve this through teamwork, collaboration and an uncompromising focus on safety, quality and customer service.

**A day in the Customer Service Officer role will see you**:
Receive and confirm orders from Approved Health Providers

Liaise with medical and scientific stakeholders to ensure accurate orders

Input orders efficiently into databases for processing and fulfilment

Assist the Order Fulfilment team with the picking, packing and timely distribution of life-giving blood and products, when required

**Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for**:
Prior experience in customer service roles

Understanding of health, medical, scientific or related industries beneficial

Passionate about delivering great customer service

Ability to undertake routine and repetitive work with high attention to detail

Collaborative with a strong sense of teamwork

Excellent verbal and written communication

Technical and digital aptitude

Occasionally lift shippers that weigh between 5 - 10kgs

Occasionally stand, walk, bend and reach to pack blood and blood products

This role is a permanent, full-time opportunity based out of our Melbourne Processing Centre in West Melbourne, VIC. Due to the life-giving work we do, your flexibility and availability to work varied shifts are appreciated. These shifts will be on a fortnightly rotating roster from Mondays to Fridays across mornings and afternoons (approximately 5.30 AM to 9.30 PM). Occasionally, some public holiday coverage may be required.
