**Child Care Group Leader**

123 Grow Child Care is a beautiful, 83 place, 5 room centre located in Logan Central. We are in search of a dedicated and passionate Group Leader for our Centre to provide a unique and special place where children and their families can play and learn in a safe and friendly environment.

**Position duties and tasks**
- Take a lead in the development, delivery, and evaluation of a quality early learning program for children enrolled in the Centre, ensuring individual children’s strengths, interests and needs are identified and their learning enhanced.
- To embrace and implement the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and ensure that the service maintains operating standards as outlined in the National Quality Standards, continually working towards achieving a high-quality rating.
- To engage in face-to-face teaching as well as non-teaching tasks that support the centre and operational requirements.

Monitor and document children’s development and progress through a diverse range of methods that reflect the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework.

We are committed to providing a superior educational curriculum, and your experience will advise and support the implementation of our programming.

You will work closely with the Centre Director to create a high-quality centre by fostering a sense of belonging for children and their families and keeping families connected and a part of their child's development and learning.

**Desired criteria**
- Minimum ACECQA approved Diploma
- Demonstrated experience as a Leader in Early Education
- A contagious passion and commitment to engaging learning environments
- Excellent knowledge of the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework
- Sound understanding of the development of children, their health, hygiene, and nutritional needs
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive Early Childhood practice and social justice
- Demonstrated experience in building relationships with families
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with experience in coaching, developing, and building team capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work under mínimal supervision with a commitment to continuous learning
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Current Working with Children Checks
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates are desirable
- Current Child Protection Certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week
