Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role will be crucial, taking responsibility for ensuring all processes and production comply with the organisations relevant formulations and manufacturing methods within the framework of their Quality Management System and EHS requirements.

Our client, a leading global producer of specialty chemicals, focused on delivering sustainable solutions for water-intensive industries are looking for a HSEQ Coordinator to take responsibility for ensuring all processes and production comply with the organisations relevant formulations and manufacturing methods within the framework of their Quality Management System and EHS requirements.

This role will require technical knowledge in both EHS and Quality within a chemical or similar environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the development and management of site EHS policies and procedures.
- Facilitation of workplace hazard identification, risk assessments and recommendations in risk mitigation
- Conducting internal and external audits and reports.
- Provide EHS training
- Facilitate in the investigation of all incidents and accidents, together with ensuring appropriate preventive and corrective actions are undertaken in a timely manner
- Facilitate all local, regional and global reporting requirements, in ensuring accurate, consistent and reliable data are reported in a timely manner.
- Coordinate in the early intervention, return to work and rehabilitation measures for injured employees.
- Support ISO 9001 and 14001 certification.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Certificate IV in Health and Safety and/ or Certificate IV in Training and Assessing
- Experience with chemical manufacturer or related industry
- Chemistry qualification. Degree ideal
- Industrial safety and occupational EHS experience within a manufacturing environment
- Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements and EHS policies, procedures and programs
- Ability to work alone and as part of a wider team
