The role

With the recent integration of Sycle and Ascot Bin Hire under a shared group structure, this role will focus on delivering HSEQ support across both businesses and their associated entities.

Your everyday
In this newly created role, you'll be pivotal in establishing and maintaining work practices, safety management systems and safe work procedures in a waste management and logistics environment.

This Role Will See You Take Responsibility For
  • Reviewing SWMS and updating as appropriate
  • HSEQ Administration
  • Audits
  • Reporting
  • Inspections
  • Incident management
  • Training
Who are you?

Looking to kick start your HSEQ career, you are ready to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You understand the importance of active engagement in developing and maintaining a strong safety culture and you love interacting with people, forming strong working relationships with ease.

You'll Come To Us With
  • A passion for all things HSEQ; understanding risk assessments, hazard identification and SWMS review
  • The ability to remain agile in an ever-changing workplace
  • Demonstrable written communication skills
  • The ability to work with employees and management at all levels, balancing stakeholder priorities
  • Cert IV in WHS
  • Driver's license is essential
  • Previous experience in waste management or a quarry environment will be highly regarded
