Vehicle Body Builder

Gilani Engineering Australia is a private family owned company. We are the leading vehicle modifier for wheelchair accessibility in Australia.
We are looking for an experienced bright and hardworking individual to be part of the team that modify vehicles for wheelchair access.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Modifying of vehicles like, Kia Carnival, Hyundai Staria, VW Multivan Honda Odyssey and small bus fit out.
- Fabricate weld and assemble according to specifications.
- Working with deadlines.
- Servicing, repairs, and maintenance work.
- Maintain a safe working area.
**To be successful for the role you must have**:
- Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in a similar role in the engineering or automotive industry.
- Eligibility to work unsupported in Australia.
- Trade qualified Body Builder or welder fabricator
- Excellent work ethic.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Can work without supervision.
- Team player hands-on & can multi-task.
- Must be able to read and interpret workshop drawings.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- Willing to make overtime.
- Have a high level of pride of workmanship and attention to detail.
- High standards of honesty, integrity and professionalism.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term, Casual, Subcontract
Part-time hours: 38 per week
**Salary**: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

- Smithfield, NSW 2164: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- White Card (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
